The site, based near Hartlepool, will be revived by the acquisition and prevented from transitioning to an idle state

Billions Europe has reached a milestone agreement with Venator Materials UK to acquire the Greatham site subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions. The acquisition, once completed, will allow Billions’ subsidiary LB Group to boost production of titanium dioxide and pigments.

Corporate partner John Hammill who advised Billions Europe on the transaction had this to say:
