We’re delighted to announce that Emily Warman has become an associate in the employment team and Adam Scurr has been promoted to digital marketing manager. 

Emily, a Newcastle University graduate who completed her LPC at Northumbria University, joined Square One at the end of 2022. Specialising in employment law, she works across the full range of legal support, from day-to-day HR support to employment tribunal matters.

An expert in business immigration, Emily is adept at helping clients with new sponsorship applications, ongoing sponsorship obligations, and visa applications for employees.

Adam has helped drive the effort to increase the firm’s online presence, managing podcast production, and playing a key role in the marketing team’s work revamping and updating the Square One Law brand, website and social media engagement.

Joining the company in November 2021, Adam has established himself as a trusted source of communications guidance and marketing engagement.

Managing Partner, Gill Hunter, said:

Square One now employs approximately 70 people across Newcastle, Darlington and Leeds.
