Eleanor is a partner in the employment team at Square One Law. She has experience of dealing with a wide range of employment and immigration matters.
Eleanor works with her clients to co-ordinate and implement their employment requirements. This includes supporting clients to establish an international presence and to manage a global workforce. Eleanor also assists clients with immigration matters; advising on the options available at the outset, supporting through the implementation stage, and ensuring compliance and the licence obligations are met thereafter.
Eleanor advises clients on day-to-day UK employment law and HR issues such as conducting disciplinary hearings, sickness absence management and handling performance issues. She advises on larger projects such as company restructuring and TUPE transfers.
Eleanor has appeared before employment tribunals across the country and before the Employment Appeal Tribunal. As well as handling cases involving unfair dismissal and breach of contract claims, Eleanor has led on complex cases involving issues such as whistleblowing and multi-strand discrimination claims.
She also works on non-contentious matters including the employment aspects of corporate transactions, drafting contracts and policy documentation and negotiating executive severance packages.
