Hayley is Head of the Dispute Resolution team and has been with us for over a decade. She specialises in commercial and business disputes, working with clients across a wide range of industries and sectors.

Hayley advises on complex contractual matters – including breach of warranty, breach of condition, and termination issues – as well as shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, intellectual property disputes, and insolvency matters.

Known for her pragmatic and commercially-focused approach, Hayley aims to resolve disputes swiftly and cost-effectively, using litigation only when necessary. She is a strong advocate for negotiation, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution when they can help clients protect their commercial interests while minimising disruption to their business.

Hayley is recognised for her clear, tailored advice. She explains legal issues in a way that aligns with each client’s experience – whether they are seasoned in litigation or encountering it for the first time – ensuring clarity without ever patronising or assuming. She is not afraid to give a firm view on the merits of a case, and will always be clear about the steps she recommends, including what she would do if she were in a client’s position.
