Mark heads up the corporate and banking and finance teams. He is a highly experienced transactional lawyer who has strong client relationship skills.
He regularly advises clients across a variety of business sectors, such as the motor, retail, leisure, energy and technology sectors.
Mark has a particular specialism in providing advice in all aspects of banking and finance work and especially in acquisition finance and property development finance where he regularly advises both borrowers and lenders. During lockdown he was regularly involved in advising upon new and restructuring existing debt facilities including through the CBILS schemes for a number of lenders and borrowers.
Mark also has a background in insolvency and restructuring work and often advises companies and management on their duties when in financial distress, creditors on their options in respect of their debtors and officeholders in the course of their appointments and in respect of realising assets.
